Public Relations Student Society of America
During the 2023 -24 academic year, I served as Vice President of the Paul Dannelley Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PPRSSA) at Susquehanna University, which is both a practicum class and a club. The Executive Board and I assisted in planning and leading class content as well as organizing our annual week-long campaign for Donate Life to promote organ donation. Our theme this year was Race To Donate, and we had a week filled with fun and lots of new organ donor sign-ups! It was so fulfilling to campaign for such a special cause and to help raise awareness for the importance of organ donation.

This campaign won second place in the Student Saving Lives Challenge and was the fifth consecutive year our chapter placed in the top three in the state of Pennsylvania.

I also attended the Central PA Public Relation Society of America's (PRSA) Annual Keystone Awards Luncheon, where the Executive Board and I accepted a Keystone Award in the student category for our 2023 Bee a Match Organ Donation Campaign on behalf of our chapter. We were the only student-run organization to win an award. I enjoyed meeting and listening to Gavin W. Lichtenstein, director of digital partnerships for Governor Josh Shapiro, give a keynote presentation on "Leaning in and Building Trusted Partnerships with Our Generation's Digital Leading Voices with Audiences Online."
